Day 5 : Mikumi National Park

Mikumi is one of the most popular National Park in Tanzania . It is about 300km to the West of Dar es salaam along the Dar-Mbeya highway The park is also decorated by its superbly scenic plains and baobabs and it is home to various wild animals and birds species. The park is endowed with spectacular concentration of wildlife which are rarely seen in other parks like magnificent Sable antelope, African hunting dog, blue wildebeest, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest and others. The gentle foothills and vast miombo woodland savanna in the southern parts of the park are quite spectacular.

Day 6 : Udzungwa Mountains National Park

You won’t see crowds at Udzungwa Mountains National Park – not many people come here, despite there being so much to see. Udzungwa is all about the forested mountains that shelter amazing birdlife and 10 different species of primate. No Tanzanian park has as many different kinds of primate as you’ll find here. The forests are beautiful, and you should keep an eye out for the leopards and elephants that are sometimes seen. On the Kilombero floodplain you should come across hippos and crocodiles.

Day 7 : Ruaha National Park

This Largest remote park is found in southern Tanzania The convergence of vegetation zone in this huge Park has resulted in unusual combination of animals ,Particularly Greater and Lesser Kudu, together with sable and roan antelopes in the Park a feature that is not found in other National Park in the country. Key animals found in Ruaha National Park includes elephant ,zebra, lion, giraffe, hunting dog, ostrich, greater and lesser kudu, grants gazelles, striped hyena, sable and roan antelopes, crocodile and hippos mainly in Ruaha River. More than 540 species of birds have been recorded in this Park.

Day 8 :Ruaha National Park
